A step forward:
I finally could start the gnapplet application by
using a file manager: I launch the gnapplet.exe
instead of gnapplet.app (only the latter appears in
the apps menu of the phone).
The gnapplet starts correctly and I can issue the
command: 
gnokii --getphonebook ME 1 end

but I only retrieve the firt bounh of items, after
that the gnapplet closes and gnokii hangs.

Any suggestions?
