Hmm, very strange. The fileid is used to set the operator logo etc...although oddly enough the code I wrote to do that doesn't seem to be in cvs. I'll track it down sometime and commit it.

Indeed - I'm pretty sure that the id is only every actually 2 octets, although there appears to be space for more. I don't quite understand it though since I'm sure they don't have a 256 file limit. Anyway - if you want to change it over to 2 octets that's fine I think.
Ed - can you send pkot some frames if you've got your cable? Mine is all packed up in house moving.
