Hi,
I've just added TCP/IP support to gnapplet (gnapplet is the phone side
application for series60 mobiles). This can be a solution for cable
connections. Look into the following page how to setup tcp/ip connection
between your PC and your phone:
http://gnubox.dnsalias.org/gnubox/
TCP/IP support is normally disabled in gnapplet. You have to edit the
file gnapplet.ini to enable TCP/IP support. You can use a file manager,
p3nfsd, etc. You can find the latest gnapplet at:
http://users.szivarvanynet.hu/~bozo/gnokii/gnapplet.sis
If your phone IP address is 169.254.1.68, you can set the following in
your gnokiirc:
[global]
port = 169.254.1.68:1912
model = series60
connection = tcp
If you managed to get it working, please let us know.
Bye,
Bozo
