Thanks for your advice, hepful as always.
Ibbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb compiled the latest CVS gnokii, and this
allowed me
to download my phonebook to a Sony-Ericsson T630 :
=========================================
address@hidden phonebook]$ gnokii --writephonebook -f < ME-20051118r
Write Succeeded: memory type: Internal memory, loc: 7, name: Purser, number:
012824124
...
Write Succeeded: memory type: Internal memory, loc: 136, name: ESAT, number:
1909
SIM card missing or damaged.
address@hidden phonebook]$
=========================================
Not sure about that last message about the SIM card,
which is certainly not damaged.
But the phonebook has downloaded perfectly.
