Quite strange. Please run some kind of a terminal emulator (e.g. minicom,
kermit) and try to issue the following AT commands:

AT+CGMI
AT+CGMM
AT+CGMR
AT+GMI
AT+GMM
AT+GMR
ATI0
ATI3
ATI2

Please let me know the result.
