DKU 5 on Fedora Core 3? |

Hi
Has anybody managed to get the DKU-5 cable to work with Fedora Core 3?
I am running the default kernel 2.6.9-1.667, with no modifications. It
is unable to recognize the DKU-5.
When I plug in the cable dmesg shows that a new device has been
connected but it does not assign any driver to it. Hence there is no
/dev/ttyUSBS0 device created.
I read elsewhere that the modules usbserial and pl2303 must be
available. Both are available in lsmod.
--dmesg output after clearing, unplugging and replugging--
address@hidden ~]# dmesg
usb 4-2: USB disconnect, address 5
usb 4-2: new low speed USB device using address 6
--lsmod output--
address@hidden ~]# lsmod | grep pl2303
pl2303 16325 0
usbserial 25513 1 pl2303
--gnokii info in case needed--
address@hidden ~]# gnokii --version

I couldn't find any info on this in the archives, so please point me
in the right direction if this has already been resolved.
