gnokii 0.6.8 on debian and gnapplet

i installed gnokii on debian sid.
the installed version is 0.6.8
i downloaded the latest gnapplet.sis file from:

http://users.szivarvanynet.hu/bozo/gnokii/gnapplet.sis

but it is not possible activate the connection, i think because the
gnapplet version is 0.18 and the gnokii driver instead is 0.17

where i can download a version of gnapplet compatible with my
installed gnokii version?
