In my opinion:
Underline that gnokiid act an emulation when the modem not implement a
standard AT set command.
It could be usefull list exactly all nokia phone that need gnokiid.
And underline, that modern integrated phone modem speak directly with the dial
application through the tty loaded from the kernel.
Something like:
If you want to use your phone modem to connect via dialup (for example FAX,
WAP, GPRS o UMTS) you will be able to configure your application (minicom,
gppp, kppp, wvdial etc.) to point the DTE connected to your phone and loaded
from the kernel (tty, ttyUSB, ttyACM etc)
