error type from outbox table using smsd

Can anyone explain what is meant by the error number return by smsd in error field using outbox table? sometimes the error number is 1, 5, 14 or something. The man page says "For explanation of numeric values see <gnokii/error.h> in gnokii source." but when i look at error.h I can't find numerical value there.
