Do you mean I can find how to install the usbserial driver from the 2 links
you posted? Cos I have checked but they do not seem to have instructions on
that.
Locate usbserial.ko file in /lib/modules/`uname -r` directory. Go to
directory containing this file. Run insmod command appending .ko
suffix to the file name. If there no such module, verify with your
distro vendor which package do you need.
I am sorry but this is not Linux-newbie group. If I need to spent so
much time helping beginners, I can't spend it improving gnokii. No
offence, but this thread became gnokii unrelated.
