The spec-file in released tar.bz2 is really old and unusable for modern 
RPM versions.

In the Gnokii Build FAQ there is an entry for pre-built packages: 
http://wiki.gnokii.org/index.php/PreBuiltPackages
Fedora Core 6 src.rpm builds succesfully on Fedora 7. You may want to 
try it.
