GetSMS IN 1 failed! (The current frame isn't handled by the incoming function.)

Dear all,

As can be seen below I am using a nokia 6230i with a DKU-2 data cable. I cannot seem to
access the Inbox using

gnokii --getsms IN 1

or any variant of this command. I wondered if there is an obvious answer to this problem?
The main error to me seems here

Folder(2) name: Inbox
Folder(3) name: Sent items
Folder(4) name: Saved text msgs.
UNHANDLED FRAME RECEIVED
request: 0x14 / 0x0006

The next option on the phone menu is "Instant Message" is this somehow screwing the script?
If so how do I best deal with it?
