Hi Guido,
As I has libusb (seems still under beta version) problem experience, who
will responsibe for maintanace for this lib ?
What operating system are you referring to?
On FreeBSD 8.0 and above there is an included libusb which replaces the
linux one which was used before. This is because FreeBSD 8.0 has a
completely new and different USB stack and a specific libusb is needed.
Previous FreeBSD versions used the same libusb as linux does.
The problem I was reporting is in no way related to libusb, but to
pcsc-lite.
The problem was reported regarding FreeBSD because it was caused by the
FreeBSD ports collection importing pcsc 1.6.0, so now the gnokii FreeBSD
port is expected to build cleanly against pcsc 1.6.0 on FreeBSD while it
was not before.
I Don't really know much about libusb, so I don't think I can help you
more than this.
