Hello :-)When running xgnokii under Xfce, the icon displayed in the Task List and alt+tab window is a generic window.
In case it helps, I had a similar problem with urxvt which was fixed by building with libAfterImage library integration enabled (later changed to the preferred pixbuf library). AFAIK under Xfce, applications set their own icons via _NET_WM_ICON as described at http://standards.freedesktop.org/wm-spec/wm-spec-1.3.html#id2507733
The version of xgnokii was built from gnokii source downloaded from http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnokii.git/snapshot/gnokii-master.tar.gz on 5 March at 16:48 UTC.
The essential build steps were: libtoolize -c -f glib-gettextize -f -c intltoolize --force --copy --automake aclocal -I m4/ autoheader -I m4/ automake --add-missing autoconf ./configure \ --prefix=/usr \ --libdir=/usr/lib64 \ --sysconfdir=/etc \ --localstatedir=/var \ --mandir=/usr/man \ --docdir=/usr/doc/gnokii--master.110505-16:48UTC \ --disable-static \ --enable-security \ --build=x86_64-slackware-linux Best Charles
