I hadn't even thought of the possibility of implementing an AT daemon. I
don't think there's any documented way of getting to the AT interface on
Android, and I'd like to stay to the documented API as much as possible,
for greater compatibility.

My Savannah account name is havardw, and I've been added to the Gnokii
group now. I don't quite understand what you mean by the "subproject"
part above, do you mean that I could create a new repository under
"gnokii" myself? It seems like you might have to be a group admin to
create the repository, but if you create an empty repository then I can
push my local repository there.

Of course. In addition to getting to know the project I'll also need a
thorough core review for my C coding, it is more than a bit rusty. ;-)
