Take a look at the example mutopia/J.S.Bach/pa.ly.
The only thing you have to specify is the linewidth
and the orientation. ly2dvi should figure out the
rest by itself. If you run ly2dvi with the flag -P,
it should even figure out to use dvips with-t landscape.
