[task #16252] Warp: write configuration in output file

From: Mohammad Akhlaghi
Subject: [task #16252] Warp: write configuration in output file
Date: Fri, 9 Sep 2022 10:10:01 -0400 (EDT)

Update of task #16252 (project gnuastro):

                  Status:                    None => Done
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed
                 Summary: Warp: keep the extra header info from the input
image => Warp: write configuration in output file

Follow-up Comment #3:

Don't worry about writing the Warp configuration options in the header! This
is a basic operation that is done automatically in all the programs:
1. The `gal_options_as_fits_keywords` function within each program's `ui.c`,
prepares all the input options that were read from the configuration files and
command line as FITS keywords.
2. Each program then writes them in the 0-th (not the HDU with data) of the
output FITS files (again: for modularity). For example Warp already does
this.

Once the library functions for the distortion-correction Warp features are
fully implemented, this feature should also work as expected without any
change :-). So I am closing this task.
