There has been some confusion among users regarding mixing of
measure functions and param functions.
Confusion regarding the "min" and "max" measure functions with
param functions has been a repeat problem.
As it stands now, they are treated as equivalent, and share the
same dispatcher. That means the same name cannot be used for
both. The original intent was that measure functions could be
used in param expressions, but that doesn't work as intended
yet.
To avoid confusion, I am considering making them separate and
non-interchangeable. This will mean you can have a parameter
function and a measure function of the same name. For example,
both called "max".
