After this patch, with EXPERIMENTAL_CONNECTIONS on, the new breakage
is:
FAILS 13
fails 3
PASSES 26
passes 2
pass : fail 1.75 : 1
Per Gunnar's suggestion, I'll leave [ox]play_connect disabled for now.
Here's my analysis of the breakage for all current CVS FAILURES.
Most are due to difficult owl problems. Several notably have the
status of single stone groups changing, causing very different
valuations.
13x13:25 FAILED (serious) semeai problem.
13x13:36 failed very hard problem.
13x13:39 failed tough owl ordering.
13x13:65 FAILED new pattern D1385 broke previous wrong solution.
arend:30 failed B14 changed from CRITICAL to ALIVE (correctly).
global:14 FAILED this one comes & goes
lazarus:14 FAILED (serious) semeai problem.
lazarus:4 FAILED difficult combination attack.
nicklas5:1202 FAILED D10 stone changed from critical to alive.
nngs:150 FAILED M3 changed from alive(!) to critical - right direction.
nngs:1520 FAILED semeai problem (Changing matcher_status of D13 from
CRITICAL to ALIVE.)
nngs:160 FAILED see nngs:150
nngs:1690 failed R14 changed from ALIVE to CRITICAL.
nngs:1700 FAILED tough owl problem.
nngs:850 FAILED Tough owl node-limit problem.
owl:46 FAILED bad problem E3 also owl-defends.
strategy3:108 FAILED (semeai?)
strategy4:194 FAILED R15 is arguably a tough owl attack.
trevor:382 FAILED shape tweeking; not serious
trevor:740 FAILED missing owl pattern.
trevora:430 FAILED F3 group change from CRITICAL to ALIVE.
trevorc:1250 FAILED D2 group now correctly CRITICAL - wrong defense.
trevorc:1610 FAILED tough owl concept.
trevord:520 FAILED F17 stone changed from ALIVE to CRITICAL.
trevord:560 FAILED M16 does give a tough attack on L17.
trevord:860 FAILED same wrong concept as trevord:520
trevord:950 FAILED passed by luck. CF3 correctly values another endgame
move.
