I suppose we should tune, then release. If we could get
persistent caching for the semeai code we could increase
the semeai nodes which might make the engine stronger.
I haven't had much time to work on GNU Go since January 2003
when I took on another big project but I can try to tune.
I'm running twogtp matches. Yesterday I ran 100 games of current CVS
which is 3.5.9 plus Arend's persistent cache reorganization.
I just started a match against 3.4. The last time I did that
unfortunately 3.4 did quite well. (I can't seem to find those
games and I don't remember what version I used, but it was
earlier in 2004, probably around the last time 3.6 was
discussed.)
