I'm able to build off of latest CVS.

However, I do get build warnings on owl.c:4746
C:\Temp\1\1\gnugo\engine\owl.c(4717):    int c_id;
C:\Temp\1\1\gnugo\engine\owl.c(4746):  mark_string(cuts[k], component2, c_id);
C:\Temp\1\1\gnugo\engine\board.c(2935):mark_string(int str, char
mx[BOARDMAX], char mark)

This seems like a legitimate warning. I don't know if it's safe for c_id
to be declared char, though.

Hi,

I have tried to compile the current CVS on VC, but it stopped while
making patterns. It appeared that makpat.exe caused an error
(unhandled exception) while making the pattern A1609 in
owl_attackpat.c.
