Dear Daniel Bump, and Arend,
CGF special meeting was held at The University of
Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan in 9th-10th April.
This year entries were 5 teams include GnuGo as a guest.
And GnuGo won perfectly in 19x19 again, and Aya won in 9x9.
2005 CGF Special Meeting Result 2005-04-09,10
in The University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan
19x19 (round robin, 40minutes)
Gnu Kat Aya Car Shi Wins Rank
GnuGo 3.7.3 1 1 1 1 4-0 1
Katsunari 0 1 1 1 3-1 2
Aya 0 0 1 1 2-2 3
Caren's Whisper 0 0 0 1 1-3 4
ShikoSakugo 0 0 0 0 0-4 5
9x9 (double round robin, 20minutes)
Aya Gnu Kat Shi Car Wins Rank
Aya 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 1 7-1 1
GnuGo 3.7.3 0 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 6-2 2
Katsunari 0 0 0 0 1 1 1 0 3-5 3
ShikoSakugo 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 1 2-6 4
Caren's Whisper 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 2-6 4
GnuGo version is 3.7.3, compiled by Visual C++6.0.
I used opteron 248(2.2GHz) machine in Windows2000.
And I used following option 9x9 and 19x19.
"gnugo.exe --mode gtp --never-resign --level 12"
GnuGo gtp client is Aya.
GnuGo spent less than 1 minutes in 9x9.
Maybe I should have used more deeper level.
I attached gnugo's sgf files, and all game records are
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA012620/cgf2005/cgf2005.zip
Thank you very much for your help.
Regards,
Hiroshi Yamashita
