Just increasing the number of semeai nodes can be accomplished
with a command line option --semeai-node-limit or you
can recompile with a larger semeai node limit:
configure --enable-semeai-node-limit=2000; make
This may be a good idea, especially if you want to debug some
semeai problems, which is one area where GNU Go makes
mistakes.
