Some webapp user were adding strings with skills lists instead of atomic
skills. We can not avoid this.
So, the work load for the skills-administrators would be greater,
in spite of rules added by skills-administrators will be saved at the data
base and applied automatically the next time the same case is raised.
The new "Extraction rule" process strings with skills lists automatically. You
can try the below ones at the Qualifications or JobOffers forms:
"C, C++"
"C/C++"
"Several technologies (HTML, xHTML, CSS)"
"HTML/CSS"
"HTML/JavaScript/CSS"
"FTP, HTTP, ..."
"FTP, HTTP, ... protocols"
$boundaries = array( ',', '/', ';', ':', '(', ')', '[', ']', '{', '}' );
One the main missing features was support to re-sort skills easily. Now with
the skill-extractor for string-list it is very easy change the sort of the
skills of your resume. You just have to fill only one row with your selected
order.
P.S.: Before announcement-campaign, we could write a guide as how to fill
qualifications-resume and a joboffer _quicker_ and easier.
Flames welcome
