PS to last message to Ian, if someone could give me also a few lines of code 
to load a picture into an image/panel whatever, I can include the patients 
picture. I've tried and keep getting errors.

If everyone would just contribute a little to these simple things It would 
save me heaps of time and we could get the whole thing up and running heaps 
quicker, rather than me spending two hours stuffing round with syntax as I'm 
not particularly good at interpreting the docs. I'm not inherently a 
programmer  - remember that.
