[Gnumed-devel] appPath - os.environ(GNUMED)

Ian,

what is the rationale behind the GNUMED env variable ?

And how is appPath = os.path.abspath(sys.arg[0]) going to deal
with the fact that a link will deliver a path different from
the direct path to the binary ? I.e. doing this on the link
/usr/bin/gnumed reveals something else than doing it on the
file /usr/share/gnumed/client/wxpython/gnumed.py that the
links points to ?
