[Gnumed-devel] module / source documentation |

Hallo,
I'm just going through all the frontend code (/python-common, /wxpython)
in order to figure out how gnumed is working and what is left to do. The
problem is, that there is no written documentation of the design goals (at
least not in detail) and sometimes it's hard to figure out how several
parts are supposed to work together. In particular /wxpython contains some
modules that are either not functional or not properly connected to other
modules. Some of the modules are imported, but never called, and there is
no way to figure out where this call should be implemented (e.g.
gmPersonNotebook, gmAppoint, gmMDWImporter and others). Could somebody put
some comment into the appropriate files or post this information here to
show how those modules are expected to work ? I will try and put as much
of the available information in the developers manual and create some flow
sheets to facilitate the understanding of the design used in gnumed.
Gerardo - could you tell me what tools / packages are necessary to compile
the docbook-sgml to some readable format ? I'am currently running an old
Suse 6.2 and can't find the appropriate prebuild packages, so I will have
to compile those manually :(.
Thanks, Hilmar
