The client currently does not deal with more than one, that

Actually, you can, that is what "config.profile" can be
used for.

Other than that I suggest dealing with this sort of situation
like this: Allow several services to be defined. Upon mapping
of a service check if there's a user-level preference defined.
If not, present the list of possible databases. Then save the
user preference for the next time around.

Which means that I really need to get down to finishing
database based config tables + gmCfgDB.py
