I sometimes get women asking "if I conceive on such and such date, when will
the baby be born?". Thus, I do have situations where I use the pregnancy
calculator with the LNMP set in the future.
Regarding popups our golden rule remains valid: popups are only allowed under
extreme circumstances
- warning about situations with truly disastrous consequences
- irreparable system errors
- where the program flow is actually simplified for ythe end user that way
(very, very rarely the case)
Notifications as in the case above should be done via
- status text
- background colouring of the input field
- optional acoustic signal
