I should note that for support of PostgreSQL arrays the latest
(2.3 non-beta) pyPgSQL is needed. It works very smoothly and
does not make much trouble installing. Storing of string
arrays in the configuration database in turn relies on
PostgreSQL arrays. Though I try to avoid requiring cutting
edge tools this particular dependancy is unlikely to change
unless someone wants to come up with an emulation of arrays...
