MIchael,

Tried you script to the letter on a virgin MD9.1 and found multiple problems, 
most of which I've solved, but am up to gnumed install  and still havn't got 
it going. It's running on my main surgery machine so I've a template to folow 
and I kept notes last time I installed (Mandrake 8.2).

I'll detail the problems later, I've a few idea's and will try the  MD91 + 
gnumed install again on a spare partition on one of my surgery machines in 
between patients.
