No, no experience. UML modelling was invented well after I ended my
professional IT career and started doctoring. And when I started to wrap my
mind around it, I still looked it as a draft and documentation tool, but not
as an actual automatized implementation aide.
At the time when we started gnumed there was no free (FOSS) UML modelling tool
available, so we started out without one, which was probably a mistake.
