Perhaps I have to do a new look at the bootstrap script. I started
this Database backup / remove option about half a year ago *before*
callling bootstrap*.sh. Did you changed anything which might be
relevant and would help unifying handling of old databases?
No. The *.sh scripts serve a similar role to the Debian
postinst script. You can just take a look at them to get a
feeling for what postinst likely needs to do in what order.
Shouldn't the postinst just run the *.sh scripts? Then upstream
changes will easily get into Debian without much package changing.
