Thinking about this, I think lines are getting crossed again. I feel 
like I'm being patronised,
and Richard is getting frustrated because what he wants isn't getting 
done ( perhaps I'm hoping
that he will do simple things,  himself ).
How about if he just accepts that what he is asking can be done fairly 
easily; what
after that ?
Please don't make this into a case of white man tells the coolie what to do.
