Hi Jim and all other GNUmedders,

I will be on the GNUmed board in the new year! Visited Richard recently 
and was impressed by his system (especially the front end part which 
already allows him to do certain tasks in almost no time) will tell you 
more about it when I'll be returned from a little holiday in Tassie.

I would like to try to build a small XUL front-end to GNUmed. I will 
have to get a basic understanding of the back-end and will have to use 
the business objects as an API. Plan to document my explorations (little 
white paper or howtos) so I can share my experience with the community.

@Jim: Don't know whether you remember me. Made some suggestings about a 
year ago regarding the overhaul of the GNUmed web site. Wan't to tell 
you that you are doing a fantastic job organising the wiki. GNUmed needs 
persons like you. What happend to the new web site plans (menu...)?

Wish a merry rest of the festive season and a rocking new year. Need to 
get drunk now ;) [to get the true Aussie experience of Boxing Day]
