Yes, the *intention* was (as discussed):

if on first line move to last line of previous_in_tab_order widget
at same position in line as we are now

I think I got this fixed now, it seems to work for me, even
with multiple lines in the STC fields. There was a off-by-one
bug. Please report.

Because I didn't put it there :-)  For no good reason other
than keeping testing code to the minimum needed for proving
the intended behaviour.
