Thanks Syan for experimenting with this.
Would be interesting to know whether a second-stage addresses any
conversion of formatting e.g. as specified at
http://salaam.homeunix.com/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/TextFormattingRules
Problems I note so far:
- link syntax
- - forced links:
----> TWiki supports the format [[Make a Link]] which renders
the page to display "Make a Link?" which TWiki can use to
calculate, and issue, an acceptable file name. [[Make a Link]]
can be used on any page without having to provide the precise name of
the wiki topic as saved in the file system. This reduces tedium while
enabling more natural on-screen language.
I saw no MoinMoin support for the above, so such links, for
example
- [[What can I
actually DO with
GnuMed today
?] and
- Ian's "[[Forms]]"
could be a problem.
- - specific links:
----> Twiki lets you create a link where you can specify the
link text and the link reference separately, using nested square
brackets like [[reference][text]]. Internal link references (e.g.
WikiSyntax) and external link references (e.g. http://TWiki.org/) are
supported.
MoinMoin permits specifying alternate link text only for external
references.
Anchors to internal topics like
[[GnumedManual#AdministratorGuideInManual][AdministratorGuide]]
therefore do not work
