If you ask me a good quality assurance to code and database might be
very valuable.  Performance checks regarding the use of external
database seems to be necessary (reducing database requests), enhancing
usability of the plugins (in dependance whether they are called
independently or from GNUmed), general investigation in the plugin
system.
