Thanks - that a very useful discussion - I've added that to our Trac
project repository wiki.

BTW, we've just started using Trac (and SVN) and although it is a slight
pain to set up, we are (so far) rather impressed with it. CVS seems to
have come across to SVN with all metadata intact, after a bit of
fiddling with conversion scripts. However, the combination of an
integrated wiki, bug/issue ticket system, SVN, timelines and a really
simple way to write plug-ins in Python makes Trac a rather attractive
project management tool, at least for Pythonistas.
