I was talking to the practice nurse today whilst she was 
manually printing out the due recall letters for pap smears this week. 
An automated recall type - form type association seemed 
needed here. e.g.  a due pap smear recall, generates a standard 
form from an associated pap smear recall form type, and
puts it on the weeks list of recalls to be sent out. 
Then the practice nurse or doctor has an option to 
untick a printing box , or to edit the recall form , if
a more case specific recall is needed. then all the 
recall letters can be generated in bulk for sending .
not sure what other people do for recalls.
