We at LFC use the caduceus at the center of our logo.

There's a Creative Commons license (free for non-profits) SVG image at wikipedia here:

It is somewhat attractive, I am only not sure what it is meant to represent. At lower left, is that a light blue "G", overlapping (at middle right) a pink "cross", the latter being conjoint with a red cross? Am I missing anyhting else (a "G" plus crosses) meant to be captured or communicated in the design?

For historical interest:

The Red Cross was first associated with human welfare and medical help during the medieval crusades, when European Knights travelled overseas to help pilgrims and foreigners alike, such as the Knights of St John

US Congress passed a law making it a crime for third parties other than the Red Cross to use a red cross symbol fraudulently but also permitted J&J and the dozens of other companies to continue to use the red cross emblem for only those products used by those companies as of that time. Congress made this a criminal statute specifically to protect the Red Cross from unauthorized users of the emblem. One company (Johnson & Johnson) has however since filed suit against the Red Cross!

As an alternative to a red cross, people have at times reminded us of the rod of Asclepius (serpent around a staff) and I wonder if a "G" and or a "Gnu" could be artfully incorporated into such a design or icon
