Hi all,

the Debian project announced the froze the first parts of
the current Testing distribution (Lenny) and announced a
freeze of the whole shebang this week of the next. This
means that within the next couple of month there will be a
new stable release of the venerable Debian camp.

GNUmed in Lenny is currently at a fairly well debugged .10
iteration of the 0.2.8 branch. This, methinks, is good.
0.2.8 is reasonably featured to warrant a second look on a
stable machine.

wxPython 2.8 is at long last available in Debian Testing. I
intend to release GNUmed 0.3 whenever it is ready but block
it from entering Testing before the new Stable is released.
It will also make the switch to the new wxPython version (in
fact, it already has).
