to me are as follows:

All of the above pseudo-patients share the same "surname" BC_BROKER  
and the first name / dob / gender information is:

The string 9012345678 represents BPATIENT's unique-in-British  
Columbia "Personal Health Number"

The strings
        AB00000256
        3585370
        3103392
        MM00000256
all represent identifiers provided by hospitals (the patient's  
medical record number) -- noting FPATIENT is known by two different  
ones.

We can alter the above as we desire, to create incoming patients that  
match, or nearly match, existing GNUmed test patients, or who  
represent patients that do not yet exist, but who need to be created,  
for example patients seen for the first time in the hospital, whose  
tests done on a Saturday (after discharge from hospital on a Friday)  
may arrive before the patient has been created in GNUmed.
