No problem. In which case we would do away with the line
"current state" and have the "set to:" line both inform
current state as well as afford changing state.

However, I do remember you wondering whether it may be
confusing that state may remain altered after "close" is
pressed even when "save" was never pressed ? Do you really
want that to happen ? (no problem with me, just asking)
