That would be overkill for this sort of thing (the
complexity is way too low, better to have a simple writeup
of what it is supposed to do somewhere and a mock GUI on
paper) and would require potential contributors to also have
the toolchain.
Best practices like consistent naming, comments,
self-commenting code, and separation of concerns go a long
way in making code maintainable.

That way you'll learn of evolving (other) parts of the code
as soon as needed.
