I am starting to think of the Summary as a gestalt... an abstraction across the whole of the patient, akin to their overall condition, instead of a re-listing (inventory) of parts from various notelet Assessments or Plans.
Such a gestalt would not IMO be an assessment of the *encounter* as much as an assessment of the *patient* -- their overall state -- to the extent possible at the end of the encounter. |
