As my practice is still in baby-steps (I use my Palm Centro phone and J-Pilot to make apointments) and it is mainly steered towards my Acupuncture dream, I have made it my goal to offer 1 full-hour consult for each patient, in this way they seem to like the money they pay me and I have the time to do all this desk work while they lie down and get the needles jammed in their arms and legs :-)

I think in the future a great Acu-plugin will arrise ... crossing fingers ;-)

I don need any billing system, as I provide exclusively private care, money up front (although the money part is still not as good as I had hoped so far ... ;-)

I did understand you were using it in production, I only did not understand that GNUmed was able to provide you enough functionality to TOTALLY manage the ENTIRETY of your patient care records.

Presumably you are self-employed, no-one else (no medical office assistants) needs to be able to access any part of your GNUmed record, you enter all of the data (even patient demographics etc) yourself. You either do not use, or do not need, any extra patient identifiers.

I am aware of some doctors who make all their own patient appointments, and who do all their own billing, themselves. Do you do this, or do you have office staff who do this, but who do this entirely using some other systems
- paper or electronic appointment calendar manager
- billing system unlinked to GNUmed
