Might it be helpful to your workflow if testers would direct their  
feedback on rcs to gnumed-bugs instead of gnumed-devel?

Any issues that did warrant more general discussion could then always  
be (deliberately) brought back to the list.

If the above is a suitable idea, you might even consider (depending  
on the ease of your emailer) to set the reply-to of your future rc  
email notices to address@hidden
