I almost wonder if this is something to be kept textually in social history, as I am not sure of the medical relevance of marital status except that on average, married people evidently have less stress and more longevity so maybe it is an inverse risk factor.
An unmarried person who was and/or is sexually active can have had children, and can be at risk of needing as much or more of the health attention as needed by married people.
What also does this imply about whether anywhere to capture religious affiliation?
