I maybe misunderstood the audit constraints... I think we *do* actually permit clinical table records to be deleted... (upon which they are copied into an Audit table).
The GUI would need to provide buttons to distinguish whether to delete a row, or just mark a medication discontinued, but if a medication were to be marked "discontinued" (say, stopped at a datetime prior to current) would auto-deletion of the row be proposed?
What then about putting a medication on "hold" without deleting it? The question may not be so simple as may have first seemed!? |
